VANCOUVER, BC - PI Financial Corp is very pleased to announce the addition of Ms. Priya Patil to advise and assist in establishing a capital markets branch office in Toronto, Ontario.
“Ms. Patil brings a wealth of capital markets experience and relationships to PI and we are extremely pleased to have her spearhead our expansion into Eastern Canada.” said Bert Quattociocchi, Executive Vice President, Capital Markets.
Immediately prior to joining PI, Ms. Patil was the Managing Director, Investment Banking, for an independent employee-owned investment bank in Toronto. She was a senior executive for Canadian investment banks as well as Breakwater Resources Ltd., a TSX-listed mining company. Ms. Patil practiced law for major law firms in Toronto, as well as in Palo Alto, California, and she is a member of the Ontario and California Bars.
PI plans on establishing a Toronto capital markets team of approximately 10 professionals in research, sales, trading, and investment banking. The target date for opening the firm’s Toronto branch is Spring 2010.
