Institutional Sales

Position Description and Responsibilities

Our Capital Markets Division has an immediate opening for an Institutional Sales professional. Your responsibilities will be to proactively service existing and create new relationships with our growing number of institutional clients and prospects in North America . You will work closely with our team analysts, sales, trading, and investment bankers to provide value add service, advice, and trading ideas primarily on Western Canadian equities.

 

Qualifications and Experience

Preferred candidates are currently working on the institutional sales desk of a National, Regional or Boutique investment firm. US registration preferred.

Experienced retail investment advisors with minimum 5 years experience and strong analytical and client relationship skills will be considered.

Candidates with a strong understanding or background in mining and geology have a definite advantage.

Bachelors Degree in Business, Geology, Economics, or Engineering preferably with MBA, CFA, or accounting designation.

Highly motivated, independent, strong work ethic and positive attitude.

A demonstrated track record of integrity and success.

 

Investment Banking

Position Description and Responsibilities

Our Capital Markets Division has immediate openings in our Vancouver and Calgary offices for an experienced, institutionally focused investment banker with solid relationships and expertise in the small cap E&P sector. With our recent addition of energy sector coverage, this position will appeal to a results-driven professional seeking the leadership banking role.

You will work closely with our experienced team in Calgary - with combined 40 years energy and investment industry experience - and our growing team of analysts, sales, traders and investment bankers in Vancouver.

We will also consider non-energy specialized bankers to service our growing list of Alberta based non-energy companies.

 

Qualifications and Experience

Preferred candidates are currently energy bankers or associates with at least 5 years experience

Solid record of financing, execution, deal origination. Advisory experience definite asset.

Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Geology coupled with MBA or CFA.

Highly motivated, strong work ethic and team player.

A demonstrated track record of integrity and professionalism.
