Aleem Ladak joined PI in April 2012 as a base metal Mining Analyst focusing on small to mid-cap copper, iron ore, zinc, nickel and metallurgical coal development and junior producers.

Previously, Aleem spent 3.5 years at Desjardins Capital Markets where he was a metals and mining research associate for two of Canada's leading mining analysts. His mining team ranked first in the 2010 Brendan Woods Survey. Prior to Desjardins, he worked at as a Mining and Geotechnical Engineer. While completing his Bachelors of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) Honors in Geological Engineering from the University of Waterloo, he undertook positions with Klohn Crippen Berger and Xstrata Nickel and an engineering assistant.

Aleem in a Member of the Professional Engineers (EIT) of Ontario, Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (EIT), Canadian Institute of Mining and the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada. In addition, he has written the CFA Level 2 exam.
