Matthew Burke
Matthew Burke is a member of the Board of Directors of PI Financial Corp. and is responsible for advising on strategic decisions critical to the success of the business. He is currently a Principal at H.I.G. Capital and joined in 2016 to execute on middle-market transactions across various industries.
Mr. Burke has more than a decade of experience in middle-market investing. He has executed investments across a wide range of industries including TMT (telecom, media, and technology), business services, financial services, retail, healthcare, and industrials. Prior to joining H.I.G. Capital in 2016, Mr. Burke held similar roles at BNP Paribas and GE Capital, and prior to that Mr. Burke was part of a retail portfolio management team at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
Mr. Burke earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University. He serves on the board as Treasurer of The 1789 Fund, which runs programs to support maternal and newborn health in developing countries.
