Scott Cockx was born and raised in small town Alberta and grew up in the agriculture community. His father managed Western Feedlots in Strathmore, where Scott got his first job as a kid. His father then went on to become a Futures Broker, and that’s where Scott caught the bug. He got his start in the futures market as a floor trader on the Montreal Exchange in 1997. Now, with over 20 years of experience as a Commodity Advisor, he is very excited to be a part of PI Financial Corp. Playing college-level baseball taught him the importance of teamwork, and has served him well, as he has succeeded in building a strong team here. With his knowledge and experience, Scott will do his very best to help our clients utilize the futures market as the powerful tool for hedging and money management that it is.

Scott and his wife Renae have sons, Parker and Karson. He enjoys spending his free time camping with family and friends, travelling and hitting the links whenever he can.
